I am Board Certified in Family Medicine. I trained at the Loyola Stritch School of Medicine in Chicago, and completed a three year residency at the Tufts University Family Medicine Residency at the Cambridge Health Alliance in Malden, MA.
I grew up here in Northeast Connecticut, a graduate of Putnam Elementary School, Brooklyn Middle School and Woodstock Academy. I earned my Bachelors of Science from Boston College where I met my husband, John. We returned to the area after I finished residency in 2012, and are thrilled to be close to our families, both here in Connecticut. We have two daughters and live in Pomfret.
I am born and raised in Putnam, CT. I am a 2002 graduate of Putnam High School. After high school I attended Central Connecticut State University in New Britain, majoring in Elementary Education. It didn’t take me very long to realize that I didn’t want to be a teacher. After two years I moved back to Putnam and attended Nichols College in Dudley, MA and obtained a job at Commerce Insurance Company in the claims department. While attending Nichols College I changed my major to Business. After two years I was missing city life and decided to move to Manchester, CT and began working at St. Paul Traveler’s Insurance Company.
After the unfortunate and unexpected passing of my brother in March 2007, I moved back to Putnam to be closer to my family. This is when I discovered my desire to be a nurse. Caring for people in their most critical time of need made me feel as though I had a new found purpose. So in late 2007, I devoted my entire life to nursing school. I am proud to say that I am a State of Connecticut licensed Registered Nurse.
For nursing school I attended Becker College in Worcester Massachusetts where I completed an accelerated RN program and graduated in 2009. At Becker I completed some of my clinical experiences at places like; Umass Memorial Hospital, St. Vincent’s Hospital, Marlborough Hospital and the Jewish Healthcare Center just to name a few. I continued on my educational journey and graduated with my Bachelor’s degree in Nursing in 2013 from the University of Phoenix.
I currently reside in Woodstock, CT with my husband Matthew and our two small children. I thoroughly enjoy the concierge model of practice, always look forward to longer more relaxed appointments with our patients, flexible hours, and the life-long friendships that have developed.
